Eva definitely loved the attention, late nights, and extra chocolate!

| Eva was a little overwhelmed with all her gifts. Most were bigger than her. |
But our Christmas was pretty wonderful. I love presents. And good food. But I also tried to remember that we were celebrating the birth of our Savior. I have often pondered in my heart the blessing it is to have Eva. I can't even find ways to describe how I feel, or how my love for her grows every day. It is the most selfless love I have ever felt. And it brings so much joy.
Well, I read in Luke about the wise men, who were watching their flocks when the angel told them: I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Without a doubt, the birth of our Savior, was good tidings of great joy. I'm going to try to remember that whether it be December, April, or any day of the week. (Let the list of New Years resolutions begin. . .)
Oddly enough, I've blogged more this month, than I have for the year! It's time for me to put my feet up, get a pedicure, and take a break. I'll see you all in 2011!

Well Said. I love those pictures of Eva! What a sweetie! She is hilarious looking at that basketball hoop!

I don't know what is funnier: the look on Eva's face, or the picture of the kid mid-air dunking on a little tikes basketball hoop.
LOVE this post! By far my favorite one this month!
Cutest pink nightgown ever, I love it. Thanks for coming Emily and Eva. Here's a not so original poem from the lovely, talented Judith Viorst:
The tires on my bike are flat.
The sky is grouchy gray.
At least it sure feels like that
Since Eva went away.
Chocolate ice cream tastes like prunes.
December's come to stay.
They've taken back the Mays and Junes
Since Emily went away.
Flowers smell like halibut.
Velvet feels like hay.
Every handsome dog's a mutt
Since Eva went away.
Nothing's fun to laugh about.
Nothing's fun to play.
They call me, but I won't come out
Since Em and Eva went away.
Miss you too Dan!
